#NuYear2025 Nu Year of Thought Provocation
Welcome to 2025! While many are eager to dive into resolutions and fresh starts, let us acknowledge that the true energetic New Year won’t arrive until late March or early April 2025, aligning with nature’s cycles and the astrological new year. Until then, we have a unique opportunity to ease into this transitional phase with intentionality—with intentional reflection on how we navigate the energies within and around us. Sometimes, through creation, discomfort and what we deem as the "ugly" parts of ourselves rise to the surface—not to harm us, but to be healed, embraced, and acknowledged.
This year, I’m inviting you into a realm of deeper exploration. I’m ready to push the envelope on some concepts based on intuitive downloads I've received. Too often, we get comfortable using word choices for relatability’s sake, fearing that others won’t understand because it’s communicated in a way that’s different from their norm. I’ve faced challenges where I didn’t want to lose my audience in communication—where their response might be "huh?" But I believe it’s time to challenge those norms, to stretch beyond what’s familiar.
This is not just about changing words. If you’re open, you can explore words, experiences, and places—because they all carry energy. These shifts have the power to activate parts of yourself you may not have known existed. 2025 will be challenging for a lot of us but ultimately for our highest good. It’s time to move beyond the surface level of what’s comfortable and widely accepted. Many of us have been on the "milk" of understanding, digesting concepts that are easier to grasp because they align with our upbringing or current worldview. But 2025 is asking more of us. It’s asking us to digest the "food" of expanded consciousness—to stretch our minds, challenge our beliefs, and embrace new paradigms.
Another key part of this process is integration. Now that we’ve come to recognize the inner child, the shadow self, and the higher version of who we are aka True Self, we must move beyond simply identifying these parts. Integration invites us to embrace each of these aspects as essential to our wholeness (I call Higher Self the True Self due to the downloads I received last year to earlier this year, which I will talk about in a later post). It’s about weaving together the playful curiosity of the inner child, the hidden truths of the shadow, and the wisdom of our True Self. This is where true alignment happens—when all parts of ourselves are acknowledged, accepted, and brought into harmony.
Take, for example, the words we use daily. The terms "ritual" and "routine" often spark unnecessary discomfort due to religious connotations, yet they’re integral to our lives. Every time you make your coffee in the morning, journal before bed, or say a prayer—you’re engaging in a ritual. It’s simply something you do often with intention. By reframing this word, we strip away its baggage and uncover its truth: rituals are tools for creating alignment in our lives.
Now, let’s talk about alignment. I've been noticing a usage increase on this word, as well. Alignment refers to living in a way that harmonizes with your highest self, purpose, and the energies around you. However, it’s essential to recognize that alignment isn’t always about peace and balance. Sometimes, the journey includes growing pains—unearthing parts of yourself that have been buried or confined. Yet, alongside the discomfort, there is also healing in pleasure—doing things that feel good can be just as transformative. Resting is powerful too, allowing you to expand and decompress your energy when you’ve been taught to not take up space or to always prioritize others over yourself. Yes, consideration is important, but we are not meant to live confined. Being in a physical vessel can be a limitation enough, without adding the dense energies of jobs or societal expectations.
Similarly, "manifestation" has become a buzzword, overused to the point of losing its weight. But the power of this concept lies in its essence: the art of bringing your intentions into reality. This year, I’m intentionally sharing words like "conscious weaving," encouraging us to view our lives as tapestries, with every thought, word, and action adding a thread to the greater picture. Manifestation is no longer just about wishful thinking; it’s about intentional creation—a purposeful weaving of the life you desire.
My intentions for this "new year" are simple yet bold: to expand consciousness and invite the Collective into deeper engagement. The world is shifting rapidly, and clinging to outdated paradigms will only weigh us down. I’ll be here to guide you, offering insights, and provoking thought while defining terms where necessary. Words like "alignment habits," "conscious weaving," and "intentional creation" are shared not to dictate how you should speak but to reflect my intentions in this Collective journey. I encourage you to find words that challenge you, spark your creativity, and initiate you to dig deeper.
Now let's go further—what does 'dig deeper' mean? Digging deeper, in this context, means recognizing that every interaction, choice, and thought carries an energy that shapes our lives. It’s not just about words; it’s about exploring the experiences and environments we immerse ourselves in. For instance, the places we visit hold energetic imprints that can activate different parts of our being. Relationships and connections can mirror aspects of ourselves we need to heal or celebrate. Digging deeper requires curiosity, courage, and a willingness to sit with both the light and shadow aspects of these encounters. Words, in particular, act as spells—not just because of their meaning, but because of the emotions and intent behind them. When emotions amplify the energy behind these "spells," they create ripples that shape our reality, for better or worse. By becoming mindful of the energy we emit and absorb, we can engage with life more intentionally and authentically.
As we step into this January transition, let’s reimagine what it means to embrace a new year. This isn’t about setting superficial resolutions or rushing to reinvent ourselves. Instead, it’s about leaning into a process of deep integration and reflection. We are called to honor every facet of our being—the light and shadow, the challenges and triumphs—as we navigate this unfolding journey.
2025 is an invitation to embrace the complexity of growth, to balance the discomfort of creation with the restorative power of joy, rest, and self-compassion. By allowing ourselves to expand beyond the confines of societal expectations, we create space for our true selves to emerge. This year holds the potential for transformation, not through force, but through intentionality and alignment with our highest good.
Let’s move forward with clarity, courage, and a commitment to embrace both the known and the unknown. Here’s to 2025 as a year of integration, discovery, and expansion—for ourselves and the Collective. May this truly be a 'Nu Year of Thought Provocation,' inspiring deeper reflection and intentional growth.
